Its use of Hi-Power X and Spiral X technologies work to reinforce and stabilize the blank for peak performance, all while removing physical weight and fine tuning its action and taper. Each model in the lineup utilizes a aluminum reel seat, along with Fuji BKW guides with Alconite frames which seamlessly disperse line.
Hi-Power X utilizes diagonally wrapped carbon tape that runs up and down the length of the blanks outermost layer to reinforce its twist resistance. This also allows Shimano to perfect precise actions for the blank, specifically tuned for big game and the trolling tactics that go with them.
