Housing its internal gearing is its precision machined CNC aluminum frame, mitigating potential flex under immense drag loads that would normally impede function. Accidental drops, bumps, and scrapes are no problem with this durable framework, along with being highly resistant to corrosion and rust.
Mitigating potential failures due to the harsh saltwater environment that these reels are built for, the SaltX II features 20 seals in its construction intended on preventing water intrusion.
