Putting premier power assist technology literally in the palm of your hands, the Banax Kaigen 500TM Electric Reel is the perfect compact electric reel for hand-held use. These powerful electric reels are small enough and light enough to be comfortably used while holding the rod, as opposed to operating out of a rod holder like larger models. This compact size offering will allow anglers to use electric reels for new applications such as light trolling and light wreck/bottom fishing that wouldn’t necessarily be considered deep dropping. The Kaigen 500TM is perfect for deep water bottom fishing for species like fluke, black seabass, a variety of snapper and grouper, and much more. The twin motor design allows anglers to select from a power mode or speed mode. Speed mode utilizes faster gearing ideal for bringing baits up to the surface or fighting smaller fish, while the power mode makes use of slower gearing with increased torque to buckle down and winch hard fighting bottom fish up from the depths. The Kaigen 500TM comes with all the features seen on larger electric reels, such as an LCD screen to display depth, a variable speed control lever, automatic jigging function, and sealed electronics for a washable design.
