Its stainless steel Winthrop Kite Top seamlessly disperses your choice of braid, ensuring trouble free time on the water. At the base of the rod is its #2 Aftco UB2S-B Short Butt, providing a solid foundation for your favorite reel and connecting into rod holders securely.
Built upon the success of previous Tanacom generations, the Daiwa Tanacom 1200 Power Assist Electric Reel takes power, speed, and convenience to the next level. At the core of the reel is its redesigned motor and gearing system, repositioned to be concealed within the spool for the benefit of improving power and efficiency. Compared to the Tanacom 1000, the Tanacom 1200 has a 30 percent faster retrieval rate of 140m/min and 20% more power with 22lbs of max winding power. Its maximum drag has been improved to 50lbs, making sure serious muscle can be put down towards your favorite species. The user interface was also greatly enhanced, with an easy-to-read LED dot screen to give the angler greater control of their gear.
