Just like other Marfix reels, the W6 features an aluminum one-piece body, offering the robust framework that not only eliminates frame flex but maintains the cohesion of internal gearing and other mechanisms for greater efficiency and overall power transmission. Every turn of the handle will have a more direct result, ideal for the extended fights that both the depths and species that reside in them require. At the core of this reel is its machine cut stainless-steel spur gear, exceptionally wear resistant and enhancing the inherit torque capabilities of the reel. The cork drag of the W6 is a silky-smooth in function and offers minimal start and stop inertia.
