With the body profile, action, and range of color patterns to visually imitate a true-to-nature shad, the Z-Man Shadtron LT Swimbait offers a hyper realistic offering into the swimbait game that is built to perform. At the core of its design is its industry first over/under line-through design, which allows the swimbait to be rigged at the dorsal fin and the belly. This style of rigging affords the opportunity to adjust on the fly with most optimal style, based on fishing conditions, cover, and more. Laydowns, docks, bouncing around rocks, and vegetation generally will mean a top hook styled of rigging to keep from getting snagged, while open water might be more suited to a belly style of rigging to improve hook up ratios.
The Shadtron is constructed of Z-Man’s well known ElaZtech material, highly resistant to use and abuse even against the most aggressive species out there. Its wedge-shaped tail responds with a highly realistic swimming action, even the slowest retrieve speeds, fooling even the weariest of predators. An internal weight harness at the belly of the bait keeps its naturally buoyant ElaZtech body upright, whether it’s being retrieved slowly or paused at the bottom. Slow sink and fast sink models are available for angler preference and overall depth control.
